SAP Posting Specialist

We are looking for a SAP Posting Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing accounting transactions in SAP, ensuring posting accuracy, supporting month-end closing activities, and maintaining the integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounting transactions and postings in SAP based on supporting documents.
• Check the accuracy of GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, tax codes, and other SAP parameters.
• Prepare and post journal entries / manual postings.
• Perform reconciliations between SAP data, supporting documents, and accounting records.
• Participate in the month-end closing process, analyze open items, and correct posting errors.
• Prepare SAP data extracts and reports for Finance, Tax, and Audit purposes.
• Identify posting errors and coordinate with SCM, Procurement, Tax, and other departments to resolve them.
• Support SAP process improvements and automation initiatives.

Requirements:

• 2–3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP / SAP S/4HANA.
• Practical experience in processing and reviewing accounting postings in SAP.
• Experience with General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience with inventory, fixed assets, expenses, and other accounting transactions.
• Experience with month-end closing.
• Experience in reconciling SAP data with supporting documents and Excel.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of SAP FI
• Good understanding of accounting principles and debit/credit postings.
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or Kazakhstan accounting and tax legislation is an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large volumes of financial data.
• English – Intermediate or higher, sufficient for communication with HQ and working with Finance/SAP documentation.
