Project Manager

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the construction management of our real estate and technical infrastructure projects in Uzbekistan. You'll take a project from planning through construction, acceptance and handover to final settlement. You'll report to the Real Estate Project Director.

What you'll do

• Plan and lead delivery: set project objectives and short- and long-term plans, and control progress, quality, schedule, cost and technical and legal compliance.
• Manage the site and contractors: supervise contractors, approve their detailed schedules, manage site handovers, and assess contractor capability.
• Control documents and design: approve change orders and construction and shop drawings, manage the design release schedule, and flag conflicts between disciplines and actual construction.
• Run acceptance and handover: prepare and lead acceptance with clients, operators and government authorities, and hand over contractor lists and documents for warranty and maintenance.
• Own budget and costs: develop and control the project budget, propose cost-optimization solutions, and manage procurement and materials supplied by the investor.
• Ensure safety and manage risk: enforce occupational safety and health on site, identify project risks early, and propose preventive or corrective actions.
• Build and lead the team: propose project staffing, set KPIs, evaluate performance, and develop your people.
• Improve the system: set up and maintain operating procedures, audit compliance, and simplify workflows.
• Advise leadership: propose solutions to the Project Management Board and company management.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction, Project Management or a related field.
• 7+ years in real estate project management, project supervision or construction, including 4+ years in a managerial role.
• Solid knowledge of regulations and procedures for project implementation and management, especially land-use regulations for construction.
• Proven ability to manage legal project procedures, project planning and construction supervision.
• Good English communication skills.
