Schedule and employment type: 6/1: From 5:00 PM till 2:00AM (Tashkent time): Full-time

Salary: up to 5000 USD (this is not an offer, final salary will be discussed during the interview)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Driver Relations Manager to support drivers in our U.S. trucking operations. You will take ownership of driver concerns from initial contact through resolution, coordinate with internal departments, and help address the issues that affect driver retention.

This role requires independent judgment, professional conflict resolution, and consistent follow-through. You must be able to earn drivers' trust, investigate concerns fairly, explain company decisions clearly, and maintain appropriate boundaries when handling requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for driver concerns involving communication, dispatch coordination, pay or settlement questions, home time, equipment, and workplace relationships.
• Listen to all relevant parties, verify facts, and document concerns objectively before recommending action.
• Coordinate with Dispatch, Safety, Payroll or Accounting, HR, Fleet, and other departments; record the responsible owner, next action, and agreed deadline for each open issue.
• Keep drivers informed, follow up on outstanding actions, and document the outcome. Escalate overdue issues and record unresolved concerns.
• Immediately route accidents, urgent safety concerns, threats, harassment allegations, and serious compliance matters to the designated department and management under company procedures.
• Identify drivers at risk of leaving, understand the reasons, and propose retention actions within approved company policies.
• Handle difficult conversations calmly and respectfully. Explain policies accurately and obtain approval before promising pay changes, compensation, or policy exceptions.
• Maintain confidential records in approved systems and provide weekly summaries of open issues, overdue actions, recurring problems, and proposed improvements.

Mandatory Qualifications

• At least 6 years of professional experience in transportation or logistics, excluding ELD work.
• Within those 6 years, at least 3 years in roles involving regular direct communication with drivers and personal responsibility for resolving driver concerns, disputes, or retention issues. These 3 years form part of the 6-year total.
• Working knowledge of U.S. trucking operations and how dispatch, driver pay or settlements, safety, recruitment, and fleet support affect the driver experience.
• Strong spoken and written English, sufficient to conduct difficult calls, explain policies, and prepare accurate records.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate conflicting accounts, de-escalate disputes, protect confidentiality, and manage several open cases without repeated reminders.
• Ability to use spreadsheets, email, and case-tracking or CRM systems to record interactions and monitor follow-up actions.

Experience That Does Not Qualify

Experience in ELD operations, logbook monitoring or corrections, or ELD technical support will not count toward either experience minimum. Applicants with mixed backgrounds must meet both thresholds through qualifying non-ELD work. Concurrent employment periods are counted once.

Job titles alone are insufficient. Candidates must explain their actual duties and give specific examples of driver issues they personally helped resolve. General customer service experience outside transportation or logistics does not replace the required industry experience.

Preferred Backgrounds

Experience in dispatching, HR, driver recruitment, or safety is a strong advantage, especially where the work involved direct driver communication, complaint handling, onboarding, retention, or coordination between departments. Relevant experience across more than one of these functions is particularly valuable.
