School Psychologist

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological support to students.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
• Work closely with parents, teachers, and school administration.
• Support students' social and emotional well-being.

Diagnostics.

• Psychologists assess students’ psychological, emotional, and social development using standardized tools, observation, and interviews. Results identify learning or behavioural difficulties, emotional concerns, and risk factors, forming the basis for support plans.

Counselling.

Confidential counselling helps students cope with stress, emotional and interpersonal challenges, and academic pressures. It fosters resilience, self-awareness, and problem-solving, while ensuring ethical confidentiality.

Corrective Work.

Targeted interventions address psychological and behavioural difficulties through individual or group sessions, applying methods such as art therapy, cognitive-behavioural techniques, and social skills training. The focus is on restoring balance and supporting personal growth.

Preventive Work.

• Preventive programmes promote mental health, resilience, and safe peer relationships, while reducing risks such as bullying. Psychologists also work with teachers and parents to raise awareness and strengthen safeguarding strategies.

Requirements:

• Degree in Psychology.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Experience working with children of different developmental stages and nationalities.
