Head of Finance CIS

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee financial operations across CIS markets, including accounting, tax, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning & analysis, reporting, and financial controls,
• Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes across the region, ensuring alignment with business priorities and Group targets,
• Monitor financial and operational performance across CIS markets, analyze budget vs. actual results, identify key variances, risks and opportunities, and coordinate corrective actions,
• Prepare and present regular financial reports, forecasts, and management analyses to CIS leadership and HQ Finance,
• Act as a key finance business partner to the CIS-MD and HQ CFO, supporting strategic and operational decision-making through accurate financial data and business insights,
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, local statutory requirements, and Group reporting standards,
• Ensure financial controls, governance processes, and Group policies are effectively implemented across CIS markets,
• Oversee cash flow, treasury activities, working capital, and financial resource planning across the region,
• Drive cost-efficiency and profitability initiatives and support business teams in improving overall financial performance,
• Coordinate financial activities across CIS countries and ensure consistency in financial processes, reporting standards, and controls,
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, advisors, and local partners when require,
• Lead and develop Finance teams across CIS markets, ensuring effective collaboration between local Finance teams and HQ,
• Contribute to regional and Group-level finance projects and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification is an advantage,
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including managerial responsibility in financial reporting, budgeting, planning, controlling, and/or accountin,
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial planning and analysis, accounting principles, taxation, and financial controls,
• Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, variance analysis, and financial modelling,
• Experience managing financial operations across multiple countries, preferably within the CIS region,
• Strong understanding of regulatory and financial environments within CIS markets,
• Experience working in international and matrix organizations and managing cross-border stakeholders and teams,
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems such as 1C,
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills,
• Fluency in Russian and English is mandatory; knowledge of Turkish is an advantage,
• Willingness to travel frequently within the CIS region and to HQ in Istanbul.
