Design Engineer (Maternity Leave)

Job summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our Technical Office team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance across CAPEX and OPEX projects, conducting site inspections, monitoring contractors’ quality performance, managing NCRs and corrective actions, and supporting testing, commissioning, and project handover. If you have a strong background in QA/QC and construction quality control, with a commitment to high standards and attention to detail, we would be excited to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical schematics, diagrams, and drawings using industry-standard software.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including design specifications and bills of materials.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable safety requirements, industry regulations, and local standards.
• Develop and review electrical design solutions in coordination with project and construction teams.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Engineering degree or related technical education.
• 1–5 years of experience in electrical design and/or construction.
• Experience in design and construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and relevant engineering software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Russian, Kazakh and English languages.
