Engineering Project Coordinator

Juru is looking for an Engineering Project Coordinator for EDM Business Unit based in Almaty. Engineering Project Coordinator will work under the supervision of a Project Manager and Head of the Team in multi-disciplinary T&D projects and contribute to the development of green and digital transition-oriented solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate project activities and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;
• Maintain and monitor project schedules, progress, deadlines and budget;
• Coordinate with project team members on tasks and activities progress;
• Ensure details of a given task are well organized and delegated to relevant project team members;
• Maintain verbal and written communication with clients and stakeholders;
• Organise, attend, and participate in client/stakeholders’ meetings, follow up on key actions and decisions from meetings;
• Ensure distributing minutes of meetings to all project team members, update project team on all changes, decisions and project plan;
• Undertake project specific tasks as required;
• Provide regular updates on project progress to Project Manager and Team Head;
• Perform a variety of project management administrative tasks;
• Demonstrate flexibility as needed by the business;
• Hiring local staff to contribute local capacity building;
• Coordination with outsources and contract management;

Key requirements:

• Bachelor or master's degree in electrical engineering or civil/structural;
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a design engineering role (energy filled is preferable);
• Good command of English, Russian and Kazakh, all written and verbal;
• Experience in engineering and/or EPC projects is a big plus;
• Good communication, analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills;
• Hands-on experience with MS Office packages and Google workspace;
• Ability to work in a team-oriented workspace and adapt to the new fast-growing dynamic environment;
• Solid organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management;
• Approachable, open minded, good listener, diligent, self-motivated, and career-oriented;
• Ability to withstand high pressure and deliver results.​​​
