As part of our rapid global growth, we are looking for a Mobile Phone Testing Engineer to join our team and help ensure the highest quality standards across our smartphone product portfolio.

An EECA regional localization experience tester acts as an information link between local users, the regional business team, and the domestic R&D center. Through user research, scenario analysis, and specialized testing, they study local user needs and provide information input for product localization iterations. Suitable candidates have some understanding of local user behavior and an interest in smart devices.

Qualifications

1. Education and Major: Associate's degree or above. No strict major requirements; science and engineering (computer science, communications, software engineering, electronic information, testing-related) and humanities/social sciences (psychology, sociology, anthropology, marketing, consumer behavior, UI/UX design, communication studies, journalism, EE1/Central Asian regional studies, etc.) majors are all acceptable.

2. Fluent in Russian and able to communicate in English for daily work.

Skills and Qualities:

1. Interested in localized user needs and consumer electronics experience. 2. Proactive, with strong teamwork and analytical skills.

3. Meticulous, with a high degree of problem-solving sensitivity and empathy, able to consider issues from the user's perspective.

Other requirements: May require travel to CIS countries.

Bonus points:

1. Knowledge of sociology or psychology, familiarity with Russian-language social media ecosystem, or relevant internship/work experience.

2. Experience in mobile hardware/software testing, app testing, or IT-related internships.

3. Experience in user research, user interviews, and questionnaire design; able to independently complete the entire user research process.

4. Familiarity with the digital and mobile phone markets in CIS countries.

5. Fluent or native Russian speakers preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Local Scenario Testing: Conduct simulated tests for local scenarios to identify product quality defects in specific scenarios, thereby providing suggestions for optimizing the local user experience.

2. Public Opinion Collection and Reconstruction: Collect, organize, and analyze user public opinion from Uzbekistan and Russian-speaking CIS countries online. For vague issues reported by users and scattered defects discovered through after-sales/public opinion, reproduce the issues in local scenarios, clarify the scope of the problem's impact, the user's level of concern, and the root cause.

Write reports based on the collected information to drive the R&D team to prioritize and resolve issues.

3. Competitive Product and Experience Benchmarking Analysis: Conduct comparative testing of competitor devices to determine the relative advantages of our devices and identify differentiating features.
