IT Park Uzbekistan is looking for a Component 2 Coordinator to manage the implementation of infrastructure projects related to the reconstruction of buildings for ITES Centers. This role involves coordinating construction projects from planning through completion, working with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of Component 2 of the project.
- Manage reconstruction projects for ITES Centers from initiation through completion.
- Coordinate activities with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
- Participate in the preparation of tender documentation, including technical specifications and scopes of work.
- Support the evaluation of bids, preparation of contracts, and negotiations with selected contractors.
- Monitor contract implementation, ensuring compliance with project timelines, scope, quality, and budget.
- Conduct site visits when necessary to supervise project progress and resolve implementation issues.
- Review reports submitted by consultants and contractors and assist in resolving project-related challenges.
- Prepare regular progress reports for the Project Director on Component implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or another relevant technical field.
(Degrees in Economics or Project Management are also acceptable with relevant construction project experience.) - At least 2 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, renovation, reconstruction, or capital improvement projects.
- Understanding of procurement processes and contract administration.
- Familiarity with construction contracts; knowledge of World Bank procurement procedures and/or FIDIC contracts will be considered an advantage.
- Fluent Uzbek and Russian.
- English – Intermediate (B1) or above.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage several tasks simultaneously.
