Senior QA/QC Welding Supervisor (Pipeline)

Location: Site Based (Project locations: Beineu/Bozoi/Kyzylorda/Turkistan)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect pipeline welding activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Monitor adherence to approved WPS, PQR, API 1104, ASME B31.8, and ASME Section IX requirements.
• Oversee welder qualifications, welding procedures, weld mapping, and weld traceability.
• Coordinate and review NDT activities (RT, AUT, UT, MT, PT).
• Monitor repair rates, first-pass acceptance rates, and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper control of welding consumables, equipment calibration, and quality documentation.
• Support client inspections, audits, hydrotest preparations, and turnover documentation.
• Prepare quality reports and provide technical guidance to construction teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of QA/QC welding experience.
• At least 5 years of experience on oil & gas pipeline construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of API 1104, ASME Section IX, and ASME B31.8.
• Proven experience with weld mapping, weld traceability, and NDT coordination.
• Experience working with Clients, EPC contractors, and inspection bodies.
• Strong reporting, communication, and leadership skills.
