Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This role is responsible for maximizing the profitability of the KAZ Factory Outlet stores by managing all day-to-day trading activities through continuous sales and stock performance analysis. The position ensures effective in-season planning and execution to achieve sales, margin, and inventory objectives while optimizing stock levels and minimizing excess inventory. This role is responsible for selecting and allocating the right product assortments, volumes, and size ratios to local market demand, maximizing sell-through, product availability, and overall outlet business performance.
Responsibilities:
Manage product allocation and replenishment to maximize sales opportunities and maintain optimal stock levels across Factory Outlet stores.
Review and optimize assortment plans based on market insights, sales performance, stock analysis, and commercial opportunities to support trading decisions and maximize business results.
Develop and execute the Factory Outlet merchandising strategy aligned with local market demand, inventory objectives, and commercial priorities to maximize sales and stock productivity.
Collaborate with Finance, Planning, and Operations teams to define category-level Open-To-Buy (OTB) targets and support the approval process with Merchandising and Retail leadership.
Ensure efficient merchandise flow by balancing inventory levels, store capacities, seasonal relevance, and outlet-specific commercial requirements.
Partner with relevant stakeholders to develop and execute end-of-season inventory management plans.
Recommend and implement commercial activations, markdown strategies, and stock optimization initiatives to improve sell-through and reduce excess inventory.
Monitor in-season sales and stock performance, providing recommendations to improve product productivity and inventory efficiency.
Conduct regular store visits, assess stock presentation and commercial opportunities, and provide actionable reports to management.
Develop expertise in merchandising systems, allocation tools, and inventory management processes while supporting and training team members to ensure operational excellence across the Factory Outlet network.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Planning, Inventory Management, Retail Operations, or a similar commercial role.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret sales and stock data and drive business decisions.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Navision knowledge is a strong advantage.
