Job Summary:
Head of Legal Regulatory & Operations is responsible for leading the Company's legal, regulatory, and operational legal support functions. The role oversees litigation and dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, government relations, employment law matters, and legal support for airport operations, cargo, logistics, and customs activities. The position also ensures effective management of legal risks, business continuity, and the development of a high-performing legal team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead litigation and dispute management, including claims and pre-trial settlement, and represent the Company before courts and arbitration.
- Manage interactions with state authorities and enforcement agencies – serving, together with Public Affairs, as the single point of contact and accompanying inspections.
- Provide legal coverage for cargo, logistics and customs matters, including the resolution of cargo blockages and customs and duty issues.
- Lead employment-law support across the Company, including labour disputes and day-to-day HR legal matters.
- Build and maintain regulatory compliance and a permissions / licensing map, ensuring all required permits and regulatory obligations are tracked and met.
- Provide proactive legal support to leadership to prevent operational disruptions arising from regulatory or enforcement actions.
- Manage operational and defensive legal risks across airport operations and infrastructure.
- Lead and develop the division's legal team.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: - Law degree; additional education in finance or economics is an advantage.
- At least 10 years of legal experience, including litigation / pre-trial claims work, dispute resolution, and regulatory or operational law.
- Experience in a leadership role within the legal function (head of department / board member) and team-leadership experience.
- Hands-on experience interacting with state authorities, in particular the antimonopoly committee, prosecutorial bodies and tax authorities.
- Experience handling litigation and pre-trial disputes, including representing companies before courts and state authorities — in particular labour disputes, appeals against actions of state authorities, and debt recovery.
- Experience in international, infrastructure companies; additional experience in foreign jurisdictions is an advantage.
