Storage Pre-sales POC Engineer

Duties:

• Lead and execute Proof of Concept (POC) activities for enterprise storage projects;
• Design POC scenarios aligned with customer requirements, pain points, and sales strategies;
• Validate and demonstrate:
  • Storage performance, reliability, and key features;
  • Integration with compute, virtualization, database, and backup systems;
• Work closely with pre-sales and sales teams to:
  • Support strategic opportunities and critical deals;
  • Accelerate customer decision-making through successful POC outcomes;
• Deliver technical demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and customer presentations;
• Analyze competitor solutions and highlight competitive advantages through POC execution;
• Prepare POC reports, technical documentation, and customer-facing materials;
• Support solution design, troubleshooting, and technical validation during the pre-sales stage;
• Provide regional technical support across Central Asia and South Caucasus countries.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in storage delivery, technical support, or post-sales engineering;
• Experience in POC execution, laboratory testing, or customer environment validation is preferred and working in enterprise IT environments;
• Solid hands-on experience with:
  • Enterprise Storage Solutions (SAN, NAS, and Object Storage);
  • Compute and Server Infrastructure;
  • Virtualization Platforms (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V);
  • Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.);
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions;
• Skill in: Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot IT systems independently.
• Expertise at: Simulate real-world customer workloads in POC environments;
• Strong sales-oriented mindset with a clear understanding that POCs are a key tool for winning business opportunities, not only for technical validation;
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills;
• Ability to explain technical results and findings in business-oriented language,align POC design and execution with customer decision-making criteria and clearly demonstrate and communicate competitive advantages;
• Hands-on, fast learner, and effective problem solver;
• Experience working in multi-vendor storage environments (e.g., Dell, HPE, NetApp, etc.);
• Experience participating in competitive POC scenarios is an advantage;
• Familiarity with performance benchmarking and testing tools.
• Fluency in Russian is mandatory;
• Good command of English is required.

Work Conditions:

• Work in the Tashkent office, near Oybek metro station.
• Working hours: 9: 00-18: 00 (lunch break 12: 30-13: 30).
• Working days: Monday - Friday (5/7)
• Days off: Saturday, Sunday.
• Probation period: 3 months.
• Working language: English (spoken English proficiency required; the interview will be conducted in English).
