I. Position Overview

The Driver Supply Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company’s driver supply strategy to ensure a sufficient, qualified, and sustainable pipeline of drivers that supports operational requirements and business growth objectives.

The position also leads Driver Acquisition and Driver Onboarding teams, driving continuous improvement in recruitment processes, conversion rates, candidate experience, and driver retention.

II. Key Responsibilities

1. Driver Supply Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and execute driver supply strategies aligned with business objectives, operational requirements, and fleet growth plans.
  • Forecast driver demand based on market expansion plans, productivity metrics, business growth targets, and driver attrition trends.
  • Monitor supply capacity and implement proactive initiatives to address shortages while maintaining a sustainable driver pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Fleet teams to align supply planning with business needs and service level expectations.

2. Driver Acquisition & Channel Management

  • Lead the development, diversification, and optimization of driver sourcing channels, including referral programs, driving schools, recruitment agencies, community partnerships, and digital recruitment platforms.
  • Evaluate sourcing channel effectiveness through conversion rates, hiring outcomes, acquisition costs, and return on investment.
  • Identify and establish new partnerships to strengthen driver acquisition capabilities and improve market coverage.
  • Ensure a continuous pipeline of qualified driver candidates to support operational growth targets.

3. Recruitment Funnel Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from lead generation through screening, interviewing, onboarding, and driver activation.
  • Monitor recruitment funnel performance and implement initiatives to improve lead conversion, interview attendance, onboarding completion, and activation rates.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify bottlenecks, reduce candidate drop-off, and improve hiring efficiency.
  • Ensure recruitment activities are executed in compliance with established procedures, service standards, and company policies.

4. Onboarding & Process Optimization

  • Manage onboarding operations to ensure a seamless transition from candidate selection to active driver status.
  • Coordinate with Training, Operations, Fleet, and Compliance teams regarding interviews, training schedules, document verification, contract signing, and activation processes.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement workflow improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies to reduce onboarding cycle time.
  • Continuously improve candidate experience throughout the onboarding journey to maximize conversion and engagement.

5. Driver Quality, Compliance & Retention Management

  • Ensure all recruited drivers meet company qualification standards, operational requirements, and regulatory obligations before activation.
  • Oversee document verification, background screening, compliance checks, and activation approvals.
  • Partner with Operations teams to monitor driver quality and address performance or compliance concerns.
  • Analyze retention trends and support initiatives that improve driver engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention.

6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Driver Supply team while establishing clear performance objectives, accountability standards, and development plans.
  • Monitor team productivity and provide ongoing coaching to improve individual and team performance.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Training, HR, Finance, Fleet Management, and Compliance teams.
  • Manage relationships with external sourcing partners and vendors to support driver acquisition and onboarding objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and results-driven execution.

7. Budget Management, Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and manage driver acquisition and onboarding budgets while ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators, including driver supply fulfillment, activation rates, recruitment funnel conversion, retention metrics, cost per hire, and cost per activated driver.
  • Generate regular management reports and provide actionable insights through data analysis and forecasting.
  • Recommend strategic initiatives to improve supply performance, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

III. Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in recruitment, workforce planning, talent acquisition, operations, or supply management.
  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume or mass recruitment operations.
  • Previous experience in ride-hailing, transportation, logistics, delivery services, fleet operations, or gig economy businesses is strongly preferred.
  • Fluent in English is a MUST
