Kazakhstan International School (KIS) is searching for Teaching Assistant (TA):
We would like to recruit a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Teaching Assistant for our expanding school.
Candidates are expected to possess a commitment to creating and managing a caring, supportive, purposeful, and stimulating learning environment which is conducive to children’s learning. Candidates should also be able to easily adapt to new cultures and environments.
What will you do?
- Work under the guidance of the teacher to support the teaching and learning activities in the classroom;
- Provide general support to the class teacher in the management and organization of pupil(s) in the classroom, assisting the class teacher during regular lessons and extracurricular activities;
- Preparing necessary materials for lessons
- Assist the teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment;
- Gathering, accompanying, and supervising students during breakfast/lunch/snack times and outdoor activities
- Provide one-on-one or group assistance to students as needed
- Direct interaction with students, facilitating communication, providing assistance, and organizing games
- Offering necessary support to children/pupils.
- Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop;
- Supervise children during breaks and during playtime on the playground;
- Possess a creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom;
- Present excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills in order to work collaboratively with staff, pupils and Parents;
- Be an active presence in the school;
Our requirements:
- Higher Degree Diploma - Mandatory pedagogical education;
- At least 1 year of teaching experience;
- Experience working in an international school (desirable)
- Ability to work with native and non-native speakers of English;
- Fluent in Kazakh, Russian and English written and spoken
- Fluency in English is a must;
- Excellent lifelong learning skills;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- High sense of responsibility and flexibility;
