System Administrator

On behalf of a licensed sports betting operator in Uzbekistan, we are seeking a motivated, technically strong System Administrator to join a fast-growing team at an exciting stage of market expansion.

This is an opportunity to become part of one of the first regulated betting businesses in the country and contribute to building a stable, secure, and scalable technical infrastructure within a newly regulated industry.

The Role

As a System Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining the company’s IT operations, ensuring high system availability, network security, and reliable platform performance across both internal and customer-facing environments.

You will work closely with technical and operational teams to support infrastructure growth, monitor system stability, and maintain secure environments as the business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support servers, operating systems, and core infrastructure
• Manage network equipment, including routers, switches, VPNs, and firewall solutions
• Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify potential issues
• Administer user access, permissions, and security controls in line with company policies
• Maintain backup procedures and support disaster recovery planning
• Apply system updates, patches, and security improvements across environments
• Support implementation of cybersecurity measures including antivirus protection, encryption, and access management
• Monitor platform and server activity to identify unusual traffic or security risks
• Assist with setup and maintenance of staging, testing, and production environments
• Maintain technical documentation, infrastructure records, and internal support materials

Requirements

• Previous experience in a System Administration or Infrastructure Support role
• Good understanding of networking concepts, VPN technologies, firewalls, and system security
• Experience working with user management and access control policies
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work in dynamic environments and react effectively to urgent technical issues
• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
• High level of responsibility and attention to detail
• Uzbek language skills would be considered an advantage
