Technical Coordinator SAP Basis Data Migration with German

Andersen is hiring a Technical Coordinator SAP Basis Data Migration with German for a project supporting SAP landscape readiness and large-scale data migration activities.

The customer is a large international technology provider delivering end-to-end digital solutions for enterprise-level organizations. The company focuses on IT consulting, cloud services, cybersecurity, and managed operations, supporting clients across various industries with complex digital transformation needs. The project focuses on the technical coordination and preparation of SAP landscapes for large-scale data migration activities within the environment. The scope includes ensuring system readiness, managing technical connectivity, and resolving infrastructure bottlenecks across S/4HANA, HANA, and Oracle environments.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating technical system setup and executing system refreshes to support migration cycles.
• Requesting, configuring, and verifying the functionality of RFC connections across the landscape.
• Managing permissions for the migration team by coordinating requests and following up on implementation.
• Performance monitoring and troubleshooting of data transmissions and Data Hub operations.
• Monitoring and managing free space on migration shares and storage resources.
• Optimizing SAP and Database parameters for both HANA and Oracle environments.
• Sizing adjustment and coordinating index creation to improve migration performance.
• Analyzing system and utilizing database to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Must-haves:

• Proven experience in SAP Basis system landscape management and S/4HANA transformations for 3+ years.
• Solid technical background in SAP HANA and Oracle database migrations.
• Expert-level troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong coordination skills to bridge technical requirements between Migration and Basis teams.
• Proficiency in managing technical documentation and operational concepts for migration projects.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
• Level of German – from Intermediate+ and above.
