We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to join our senior leadership team. This role is second-in-command to the Head of School and will oversee all non-academic operations, ensuring efficient, compliant, and sustainable management of school functions.

The successful candidate will lead finance, human resources, legal compliance, facilities, health services, procurement, administration, and risk management, while supporting the school’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Oversee the school’s finances, including budgeting, forecasting, tuition management, accounts, payroll, and reporting
  • Monitor cash flow, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and manage audits.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for procurement, contracts, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage sales.

Human Resources & Legal Compliance

Facilities & Operations

  • Manage campus facilities, maintenance, security, transportation, utilities, and health & safety.

Health & Wellbeing

  • Supervise the school nurse and health services team.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
  • Promote student and staff wellbeing initiatives.

Strategic Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of School and participate in senior leadership decision-making.
  • Serve as acting the Principal for the delegated duties.
  • Drive operational improvements, digital transformation, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field; In education with the experience in the Head of the School role is most preferable;
  • experience in working at founding schools,
  • experience at international schools is preferable
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
