Haileybury Astana is currently seeking a dedicated Senior School Receptionist to provide essential support across a variety of office functions.

Type of contract: Temporary maternity cover contract

Start date: April 2026

Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5 PM

Main Responsibilities:

• Greet and register pupils, parents, and visitors, and direct them appropriately
• Operate the main school switchboard, handle calls, transfer messages, and provide information
• Answer general enquiries from parents and visitors
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area and ensure continuous desk coverage
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and document filing on a monthly basis
• Prepare monthly reports for Yandex Taxi and Emex deliveries for the Accounting Department
• Arrange corporate taxi bookings for staff
• Collect morning and afternoon attendance registers for teaching staff
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for meetings with parents and teachers
• Coordinate parent-teacher meetings and related communications
• Coordinate and manage the rental of school facilities (sports halls, theater, etc.), including scheduling bookings and liaising with tenants
• Carry out basic administrative tasks, including document processing and translation when required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
• Previous experience as a receptionist, office manager, or personal assistant
• Customer-oriented and service-minded attitude
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
