Job Purpose:

The Senior Student Recruitment Manager, based in either Astana or Almaty, plays a key leadership role within the Student Recruitment Department, driving the execution of recruitment strategy and delivering against agreed enrolment and pipeline targets.

The role is responsible for translating departmental strategy into actionable recruitment plans, leading operational delivery, managing performance across recruitment activities, and ensuring effective alignment between recruitment, marketing, and conversion functions. The post holder ensures continuous optimization of recruitment performance in line with institutional priorities and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive student recruitment strategy targeting parents and prospective applicants in alignment with university growth plans.

  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual recruitment targets, conversion targets, KPIs, and benchmarks.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and student demand to inform the marketing

  • strategy including the calendar of events per city within Kazakhstan and regional visits and incoming campus visits.

  • Identify and lead action plans for new markets, channels, and partnership opportunities (local and international), including forecasts and pipeline numbers.

  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Education, Communications, or a related field.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or marketing (preferred).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Kazakh/Russian.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Bitrix24) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.

  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexibly during peak recruitment periods.

  • Proficiency in English, fluency in Russian and/or Kazakh language essential.
