Learning Support Assistant (1:1 Student Support)

About the Role

Kazakhstan International School (KIS) Astana is seeking a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for an individual student.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support throughout the school day.
• Implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
• Support access to the curriculum and classroom learning.
• Monitor progress and communicate with teachers.
• Support student wellbeing, behaviour, and independence.
• Assist during transitions, breaks, and daily routines.
• Prepare and adapt learning materials.

Requirements

• Education degree
• Experience working with children (preferred).
• Interest/experience in Learning Support / SEN.
• Patient, caring, and responsible.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English and Russian (both required).

Must meet RK requirements: police clearance, medical check, safeguarding compliance
