Quality & Food Safety Leader

What are we looking for?

• Food science or equivalent BSc/ MSc degree is preferred.
• Experience of quality assurance from a sizable organization
• Knowledge of quality management system – ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and quality program GMP/ Hygienic design.
• Familiar with legal food safety requirement, food process technology.
• Problem solving skills and systematic thinking
• Proven experience in people management and project management

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Implementation of Quality Management System, and ensuring that it is fully and effectively developed, deployed and improved on an on-going basis
• Maintain effectiveness of the quality management system in accordance with local, international requirements and standards (FSSC, HACCP) and internal Mars standards, organize necessary trainings, provide preliminary measures and corrective actions
• Ensure use of advanced knowledge, methods, best practices, and equipment to deliver production of food safe and high-quality products
• Provide and nurture strong Quality and Food Safety culture at site
• Build, lead and develop site quality and food safety team and site laboratory team.
• Lead quality and food safety risk analysis during factory development, construction and regular manufacturing. Implement solutions aimed at elimination of identified risks. Develop and implement quality & food safety and laboratory actions aimed at successful factory launch and regular manufacturing
• Lead and ensure timely preparation, launch and efficient performance of site laboratory
• Lead and ensure timely preparation, implementation and up-to-date maintenance of documents, procedures of quality & food safety department and laboratory
