Junior Automation Specialist

This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys designing and scaling practical automation solutions, translating business needs into robust and scalable technical outcomes.

What You will do

• Proactively identify and propose new automation opportunities, including AI based solutions and agents

• Design, build and enhance data workflows to automate:

• data cleansing, mapping and validation
• calculations, reporting, dashboards and control procedures

• Administer and support automation platforms and environments (training will be provided), including:

• servers and virtual machines
• Alteryx Gallery (user access, workflow execution, deployments)

• Act as a technical point of contact for users:

• collect feedback
• continuously improve existing solutions
• deliver user training and practical guidance

• Coordinate with regional IT teams on incidents and enhancements; provide Level 1 technical support where required.

• Support software procurement, approvals and risk management processes related to automation tools;

• Track automation results and present impact and progress to leadership

What we are looking for

• A mindset of ownership, problem solving and continuous improvement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Modeling or a related field. Candidates without formal IT education are welcome if they demonstrate the ability to independently build functional automation or data workflows.

• Hands on experience with, Python and SQL, ETL / data transformation processes• Advanced MS Excel (including VBA and macros), experience with Alteryx, SAP, 1C or similar ERP systems is a strong advantage (not mandatory)

• Ability to communicate confidently in English with regional IT teams (calls, emails, documentation)
