Senior Python Developer

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team working for a leading U.S.-based healthcare technology company providing practice management software for aesthetic clinics, medspas, and wellness centers. Hundreds of clinics across the country trust us to streamline operations, improve patient experience, and grow their practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and Django

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with Django Rest Framework
  Develop and integrate with cloud-based solutions on AWS, including services like AWS Lambda, SQS

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that follows best practices

• Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend performance

• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions

• Continuously improve development processes and contribute to best engineering practices

Requirements Core:

• 5+ years of professional experience in developing backend applications using Python and Django

• Proficiency with PostgreSQL or other relational databases

• Hands-on experience with Django Rest Framework for building robust REST APIs

• Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Lambda, SQS, and others

• Solid understanding of cloud-based architecture and serverless solutions

• Experience working with version control tools, such as Git

• Ability to write unit tests and ensure the reliability of code

• English B2 and higher.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

• Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular or React (though this is a backend-focused role)

• Experience with microservices architecture
