Event Coordinator

Main responsibilities :

• Sell meeting facilities, banquets and social events;
• Organizing sells calls and attracting new companies;
• Participates in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process when necessary;
• Act as liaison between field sales person and customer throughout the event process (pre-event, event, post-event);
• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels;
• Handle guest problems and complaints;
• Reviews comment cards and guest satisfaction results with associates;
• Coordinates and communicates verbally and in writing with customer (internal and external) regarding event details;

Main Requirements:

• Fluent English and a second language desirable;
• Good written and verbal communication;
• Previous sales and events / banqueting experience, preferably in Hotel sphere;

• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook) required;

• Ability to manage stress situations, always promoting a constructive and positive attitude;
• The ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently;
• Sense of organization and planning;
