Accounting Payable Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

• 6+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or corporate accounting, with management or supervisory experience

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, approvals, and payment cycles

• Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop an AP team

• Experience working with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or similar)

• Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance requirements

• Oversight of month-end and year-end close related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations

• Experience managing vendor relationships and resolving escalated issues

• Ability to implement and improve AP policies, procedures, and process efficiencies

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements

• Responsibility for payment scheduling, cash flow coordination, and working capital optimization

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail

• Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment

• Experience in high-volume, multi-entity, or shared services environments preferred
