About the role
The Supply Chain Project Manager plays a key role in driving supply-related projects across the Central Eurasia region. This position is responsible for ensuring successful project execution that supports business growth, supply chain agility, and compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
Acting as a project lead, you will manage complex, cross-functional initiatives from idea to implementation, coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The role requires close collaboration with teams such as Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Demand Planning, Customer Experience, and other business functions.
From a strategic perspective, the role contributes to the implementation of key Supply Chain strategies, including supply agility, capability building, and customer service improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Project initiation and planning
- Act as the main point of contact for supply-driven projects within the regional planning agenda
- Collect and consolidate all required inputs (scope, timing, resources, costs, risks, success criteria) to support project approval and prioritization
- Ensure alignment with business planning and supply chain objectives
Project leadership and execution
- Define clear project goals, vision, and direction
- Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate activities across multiple departments
- Manage communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely decision-making
Project management and control
- Own project scope, timelines, costs, and risk management plans
- Monitor progress, identify potential issues (e.g. delays, resource conflicts), and propose effective mitigation actions
- Manage project budgets, including overheads, operational costs, quality-related costs, and trade expenditures, ensuring accurate inclusion in market financial planning
Governance and process management
- Ensure proper project governance and follow agreed project stage and approval processes at market and regional level
- Maintain clear documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Post-project evaluation
- Lead post-implementation reviews with stakeholders
- Document lessons learned and best practices to improve future project delivery
Required skills and experience:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
- Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage
Experience
- Proven experience in project management within supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or FMCG environment
- Strong experience leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with budget management and financial tracking
