Position Overview

Responsibilities:

• Identify and review tenders with a focus on laboratory and specialized equipment.
• Analyze and verify technical specifications, compliance tables, and commercial offers.
• Communicate with international suppliers and manufacturers to request quotations, certifications, and warranties.
• Negotiate procurement terms, delivery schedules, and after-sales support.
• Supervise and guide junior procurement staff in documentation and database updates.
• Ensure full compliance with World Bank, UN, ADB, and other donor regulations.

• Track deadlines and coordinate submission of tender documents.
  
  Required Skills & Experience:

• 1–3 years of procurement or tender experience in laboratory equipment.
• Strong understanding of laboratory equipment specifications (PCR, balances, centrifuges, analyzers, etc.).
• Knowledge of international procurement rules and compliance requirements.
• Skilled in Excel/Google Sheets and document management.
• Strong communication and supplier negotiation skills.
• Team coordination experience is an advantage.
