Middle-Office Specialist (Crypto)

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Support & Reconciliation

• Oversee trade capture, booking, and settlement for crypto and derivative instruments across multiple venues

• Reconcile positions, P&L, and balances across exchanges, custodians, and counterparties

• Identify and resolve discrepancies across systems and ledgers in a timely manner

P&L Reporting & Financial Analysis

• Prepare and validate daily P&L and exposure reports

• Collaborate with finance and risk teams to support audit, control, and month-end processes

Operational Risk & Compliance

• Monitor crypto transactions for unusual trading activities

• Monitor trading activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk limits

Technology & Process Improvement

• Work with engineering to enhance Middle-Office tools, data pipelines, and process automation

• Contribute to building scalable dashboards and reconciliation frameworks using Python, SQL, or similar tools

• Comfortable working with technical documentation and building or troubleshooting API requests to connect trading and data systems

• Support onboarding of new trading platforms, products, and liquidity providers​​​​​

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 1-3 years of experience in a trading operations, Middle-Office, or risk support role
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, and P&L reporting
• Working knowledge of digital assets, trading venues, and blockchain fundamentals
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Python (for automation, data validation, or reporting) and SQL
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Upper-Intermediate+ English

Preferred

• Experience within a proprietary trading firm, hedge fund, or digital asset manager
• Familiarity with crypto portfolio management systems or risk engines
• Exposure to DeFi protocols, blockchain operations, or custody systems
