Responsibilities:

1) Participates in the formulation and justification of the IWAC goals, objectives, and work of the IWAC, and develops proposals for ways and methods to achieve these goals;

2) Participates in organizing the IWAC work to provide scientific, methodological, and technical support to governments for the implementation of the Water Convention;

3) Organizes the preparation of summary scientific and technical reports and other reports on the IWAC activities;

4) Participates in the organization and conduct of scientific research and project studies on the protection and use of transboundary water resources;

5) Ensures promotion on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram), content creation, oversees the promotion of the IWAC website, ensures news posting, and supports the timely dissemination of media mentions of the IWAC;

6) Organizes IWAC events, seminars, and workshops to exchange information on best available technologies, the results of scientific research and development, etc. 7) Coordinates cooperation with IWAC partners.

Requirements:

1) Higher education in water resources management, hydrology, hydraulic engineering, environmental engineering, or international relations in transboundary waters and groundwater.

2) Experience working in international organizations is an asset.

3) At least an advanced level of English proficiency is required. The competitive selection process will include a preliminary English language test.

4) Fluency in Russian and Kazakh.
