Associate Professor of Discrete Mathematics

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Associate Professor of Discrete Mathematics located at Al-Khwarizmi University in Urgench. The role involves teaching undergraduate Discrete Mathematics courses in the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, conducting research in relevant areas of mathematics, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development. The Associate Professor will participate in academic committees, deliver scholarly publications, and may also supervise student projects. Engagement in departmental administration and collaboration with faculty peers is expected to support academic growth and excellence.

• Strong expertise in Mathematics and Discrete Mathematics, with the ability to teach core and advanced topics.
• Proficiency in Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics, with experience in applying these disciplines to enhance learning and research outcomes.
• Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing and improving course structure and materials.
• Proven research background with a track record of publications in reputable journals or conferences.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with a commitment to student engagement and success.
• A Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field is required.
• Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in mathematical research and education is a plus.
• Minimum C1 level in English.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
