Head of Credit Risks in Large SME Lending

Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic professional to lead credit risk management for our large SME and Corporate lending portfolios. In this role, you’ll ensure a robust risk framework, maintain portfolio quality, and support compliance, all while driving strategic risk initiatives that align with business goals and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will directly impact the bank’s growth and stability.

What You’ll Do

• Shape credit risk strategy: Develop and enforce policies for corporate and SME lending portfolios.

• Make impactful decisions: Review and approve credit proposals, managing complex risk considerations.

• Monitor and mitigate risks: Track portfolio trends and implement proactive measures.

• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with the CRO and business units to align risk appetite with regulatory standards.

• Lead and develop talent: Guide the credit risk team, oversee reporting, and enhance risk modeling capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive hands-on experience in corporate and SME credit risk.

• Strong knowledge of Basel II/III, IFRS 9, and local regulations.

• Experience in local and international markets is a plus.

• Proven leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to make confident risk decisions.
