Driver for embassy of Malaysia (tourism section) Almaty, Kazakhstan

Accountability:

• To perform duties related to logistics and vehicle maintenance in ensuring office personnel arrive at the destination in a comfortable and safe condition.
• To assist in duties related to clerical matter in ensuring office related matter can be done according to the expected time.

• To drive for official duties and in a responsible , safe and courteous manner
• To ensure the office vehicle is in good condition and safe to be used at all times and responsible for the maintenance and compulsory motor vehicle inspection and registration including insurance and road tax renewal by cross checked with the car rental supplier.
• To maintain the cleanliness (including washing at intervals) before driving the official car to the office and to ensure the car and its accessories are in clean condition
• To maintain a log book for the official car. The log book is to be kept up to date at all times
• To send/ collect document on daily basis to/ from other permanent mission’s office, consulates general’s office, chamber of commerce office and other related agencies/ companies
• To assist in clerical work such as photocopying, faxing and other related office administrative tasks including maintenance of office assets and inventory and publication.
• To perform other duties assigned by the Director and home base staff (HBS)

• Official driving license category B
• High driving skills, knowledge of all city streets, vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Owning your own personal vehicle.
• Punctuality, good communication skills, positive attitude, discipline and good team player
• Basic knowledge of English language.
