Legal Director (Group Level)

We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Legal Director (Group Level) who will lead the legal function at the holding level and ensure legal integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management across the Group.

Your Mission
To establish and lead a world-class legal and compliance function that supports Abris Group’s strategic growth, protects its assets, and ensures seamless legal operations across multiple jurisdictions.
You will serve as a key advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, and top management on all legal and regulatory matters affecting the holding and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the Group-wide legal function across all operating countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, UAE, Ireland, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and others);
• Design and implement the Group’s corporate governance framework, including Board procedures, shareholder relations, and internal policies;
• Oversee all corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters — including M&A, joint ventures, investment transactions, and cross-border structuring;
• Ensure compliance with local and international laws, data protection standards, and regulatory requirements;
• Manage all contractual workstreams across business lines (distribution, retail, logistics, marketing, and procurement);
• Supervise and mentor legal teams in subsidiaries, ensuring alignment and consistency of legal standards across jurisdictions;
• Act as liaison with external legal advisors, government bodies, and regulatory authorities;
• Lead dispute resolution and litigation strategy across the Group;
• Develop and implement compliance and ethics programs, including anti-corruption, AML, and ESG policies;
• Provide strategic legal advice to support financial, tax, and operational decisions of the holding.
What We Expect
• 7+ years of professional legal experience, including 5+ years in a senior management role (Head of Legal / Legal Director / General Counsel);
• Deep expertise in corporate and commercial law, preferably within IT distribution, retail, or international business structures;
• Proven experience managing multi-jurisdictional legal matters and teams;
• Strong track record in designing and implementing corporate governance and compliance frameworks;
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills in both English and Russian;
• Solid understanding of cross-border transactions, licensing, and regulatory procedures;
• High professional integrity and ability to operate effectively with executive management and shareholders.
