Legal&Compliance Specialist

Duties and responsibilities

Manage Bylaws and internal regulations

• Operate and manage Bylaws (Guideline, Manual, SOP)
• Request review of enact, revise or abolish Bylaws to Operation department
• Review the request for enact, revise or abolish Bylaws from Operation department
• Register Bylaws on GIP (Global Information Portal) system

Contract Drafting and Review

• Minimize pre- and post-risk through contract review
• Implement internal control process through compliance with the standard procedures of contract management
• Manage executed contracts (updating period, terms and conditions etc.) and register on GIP

Compliance/Ethics Training Program

• Design and implement compliance/ethics education and training programs (at least once a year)

Compliance Inspection System

• Establishment and operation of compliance inspection system
• Implement special education for departments which are expected to be at high legal and/or ethical risk through a separate program.
• Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.

Compliance Inspection System

• Establishment and operation of compliance inspection system

Implement in cooperation with KT&G HQ Compliance

• Execute KT&G HQ Compliance's instructions & Report to KT&G HQ Compliance upon request (ex. Self-inspection, compliance/ethics education, management of “Letter of Undertaking of Ethical Practice”, management of reporting unethical behavior, posting relevant ethical polices on GIP etc.)

Qualifications

• Accreditation(Certification) / Experience
• Valid certification as a lawyer / jurist / prosecutor in the legal jurisdiction of Kazakhstan or a Master degree

Experience at an international corporation or a tobacco industry is preferred

Language:

English Advanced

Working conditions

This position is full time regular job and is supposed to 07.45 am – 16.45 pm

The work location is Kokuzek village, Almaty region; business trips may be required if necessary
