Provide legal support to KPMG companies’ activity, including, but not limited to, drafting and reviewing contracts, power of attorneys and other legal documents and providing legal advice.
Responsibilities:
- Corporate matters
- Reviewing/preparing/updating contracts, agreements and other legal documents;
- Dealing with resolution of current legal issues;
- Working with state authorities and professional organizations;
- Reviewing documents’ compliance with applicable legislation;
- Monitoring and analysis of legislation, drafting opinion on controversial issues of legislation and proposed changes to laws;
- Working with different databases.

Requirements:
- Degree in Law from a leading Uzbekistani or foreign university;
- At least 1 - 3 years’ experience, preferable with an multinational company;
- Excellent knowledge of UZ legislation: civil, business, corporate, private international law; administrative and court procedures, knowledge of international business law is a plus;
- Fluency in English, Russian and Uzbek (written and oral);
- Understanding of Business ethics principles;
- Ability to work with large information scope;
- Good communication skills and attention to details;
- Ability to switch quickly from one assignment to another, multitasking skills;
- Self-motivation and analytical mindset
