Purpose of the Role
The Recruitment & Selection Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that Teach for Uzbekistan identifies, attracts, and selects the most promising graduates and professionals for the Fellowship program. Working under the guidance of the Head of Recruitment & Selection, this role focuses on daily execution, candidate communication, coordination of recruitment activities, and support in assessment processes. The Specialist will also contribute to research, surveys, and data analysis that strengthen TFU’s recruitment strategy and evidence-based approach to talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Support
- Implement recruitment campaigns and outreach activities under the direction of the Head of Recruitment & Selection.
- Coordinate university visits, corporate outreach, and recruitment events
- Manage day-to-day candidate communication (emails, calls, information sessions).
- Assist in preparing recruitment materials, presentations, and reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in recruitment systems.
2. Selection Support
- Support the organisation and execution of the selection process, including application screening, interviews, and assessment centres.
- Communicate with candidates regarding process stages, logistics, and requirements.
- Collect, organise, and analyse data from selection cycles to inform improvements.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for assessment days.
3. Research & Evidence-Based Practice
- Assist in conducting surveys and analysing applicant data to identify trends.
- Support the preparation of reports and insights on recruitment effectiveness.
- Contribute to developing evidence-based proposals for strengthening TFU’s talent acquisition.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with universities, student associations, and corporate partners for recruitment activities.
- Support external communication with partner institutions and stakeholders.
- Help represent TFU at career fairs, information sessions, and events.
