Senior System Administrator

We’re looking for a proactive Senior System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and scaling our IT infrastructure to support a rapidly growing platform. You’ll work closely with a bilingual (Russian/English) team and have the opportunity to implement and optimize cutting-edge technologies that directly impact our global solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Administer and maintain internal IT systems
• Manage on-premise and virtualized server environments
• Support and troubleshoot issues for internal users
• Configure, monitor, and optimize Active Directory (on-prem, Azure, hybrid)
• Manage SQL databases (MSSQL)
• Manage storage infrastructure (Ceph, iSCSI, NAS, JBOD)
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and system security
• Deploy and manage containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes a plus)
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and scalability

Required Skills:

• English spoken level: Pre-Advanced (B2) and higher – MUST!
• Self-managed and proactive, able to take ownership of tasks without the need for constant supervision – MUST!
• Flexibility to work a schedule that is shifted towards the evening
• 8 years or more as System Administrator / IT Engineer
• Practical experience working with production systems requiring high availability and minimal downtime
• Deep knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server, Federation, AO VPN, CA)
• Experience in administering Linux systems
• Zabbix
• Active Directory (on-prem, AzureAD, hybrid)
• Hyper-V clusters
• SQL Server administration (preferably MSSQL)
• SharePoint
• Docker
• Experience working with various storage solutions (NAS, JBOD)
• Experience working with bare metal - servers, switches, routers (Dell, Cisco, Ubiquiti)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Ceph is a big advantage
