Group Tax Manager

• Oversee the daily tax filing and payment for all member companies, review tax

  returns prior to submission to ensure regular tax compliance work to be

  completed without delay or errors;

• Establish and implement group tax management rules and strategies within all member companies;

• Formulate and implement group Transfer Pricing (TP) policies/strategies aiming to balancing tax benefits and risks, fulfill related-party transaction reporting obligations, coordinate with external tax advisors to complete the required TP. Documentation and TP defense work for all member companies;

• In-depth involvement in group’s daily business operation and specific projects (e.g. investments, share/assets restructuring) to identify potential tax exposures and tax planning opportunities;

• Monitor and analyse the group’s overall tax burden (e.g. review non-deductible expenses to ensure correct ETR as well as identify possibility of improvements), perform tax forecasting/estimation to support group tax/finance reporting and budget planning;

• Liaise with tax authorities and external advisors, build and maintain trustworthy relationships with diverse stakeholders;

• Act as in-house tax advisor/specialist and answer miscellaneous tax questions raised from business department;

• Handle other tax related tasks assigned by group CFO;

• Willing to travel

• Bachelor’s degree and above in Tax, Accounting, Law, Finance, Economy or other Business Management ralated area;
• Solid tax knowledge in corporate Profit Tax, Value-added Tax, Transfer Prising, Customs Duty, Permanent Establishment, Treaty interpretation and benefits application.
