Legal Counsel

Main responsIbilities:

• Advise on alcohol advertising/promotion, regulatory, privacy, antitrust and other matters;
• Draft and consider contracts and other documents: distributorship \ key accounts, marketing, other;
• Fulfillment of requirements of corporate law (preparation of minutes of the board of directors; arranging for general meeting of the company and approval of an annual report etc.)
• Provide legal support to marketing and digital team re. advertising and promotion and various collaborations;
• Provide legal support to sales and trade marketing team re. cooperation with clients and promotion in points of sale;
• Legislation analysys; legal research; preparation of legal opinions;
• Manage and perform legal dpt.’s project;
• Provide training to sales and marketing departments on new and existing legislation and legal practices;
• Assess risks and ensure compliance of company’s operations with applicable laws;
• Representing the company's interests in court.

Key requirements:

• Higher education degree in Law;
• 4+ years experience in similar role;
• Experience in alcohol (FMCG) industry will be an advantage;
• Strong generalist knowledge of all the key areas of law, which are relevant to Company’s business (including, but not limited to commercial law, corporate law, advertising law, competition law, employment law, administrative law);
• Able to understand business, business objectives and business risks;
• Able to anticipate legal and regulatory issues and to provide “real world” and creative solutions within the legal boundaries;
• Effective time management and organization skills;
• Experience in cross-functional cooperation;
• Excellent communication skills;
• English - upper-Intermediate level and higher.
