Senior ML/CV research engineer

Diagnocat is currently seeking a Senior ML/CV research engineer with experience or a strong interest in the Software-as-a-Medical-Device industry. This role involves working on cutting-edge AI/ML products in Dentistry, pushing the boundaries of technology to advance the field.

Main responsibilities:

• Developing state-of-the-art 2D/3D detection, segmentation, classification, landmark and object detection models for x-rays, photos, CBCTs (volumetric images), and point clouds;
• Integrating models into the production pipeline;
• Creating robust pipelines for data preparation;
• Providing support for models deployed in production, ensuring accountability for individual contributions;

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in CV with a proven track record of designing and building commercial solutions;
• Proficiency with Python, PyTorch, NumPy, SciPy and other standard libraries used for ML development;
• A solid understanding of how DL frameworks work including memory utilization, identifying bottlenecks, optimization techniques, and leveraging features to improve training and generalization;
• Competence in Linux, git, docker, bash, and other related tools;
• Strong technical English communication skills;
• Possess an inquisitive mindset, always eager to explore new approaches and seek improved solutions;
