Senior Financial Controller (Abu Dhabi)

An international investment holding is looking for a hands-on Senior Financial Controller to support companies across the UAE, Bahrain, Hong Kong, and Europe.

This is a group-level role with direct exposure to senior management. You will be responsible for IFRS reporting, the full external audit cycle, cash flow control, UAE tax compliance, ERP implementation, and financial analysis of real estate investments.

Reporting to: Head of Finance

• Prepare complete IFRS financial statements and consolidation data.

• Manage the General Ledger, account reconciliations, and period-end closing.

• Lead the external audit process from audit requests to signed audit opinions.

• Prepare Corporate Tax data and liaise with the Federal Tax Authority.

• Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Develop financial dashboards and management reports.

• Participate in ERP implementation and financial reporting automation.

• Monitor real estate payment schedules and investment performance.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience preparing complete IFRS financial statements.

• Proven end-to-end external audit experience from the company’s side, including responding to audit queries, resolving audit findings, and obtaining signed audit opinions.

• Experience working with multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.

• 3+ years of experience in the UAE or the Gulf region.

• Practical knowledge of IFRS 10, UAE Corporate Tax, and interaction with the FTA.

• Full ACCA qualification is preferred; candidates with relevant completed ACCA modules will also be considered.

• CPA, CIMA, or DipIFR may be considered as alternative qualifications.

• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

• Native Russian and English at B2 level or above.

• Work in an international investment group with a multi-jurisdictional structure.
