Requirements:
- Practical knowledge of local payment systems, particularly UZCARD and HUMO.
- Experience in interaction with processing centers and relevant service providers.
- Understanding of the operating principles of payment cards, POS terminals and ATMs.
- Ability to monitor card operations, identify operational issues and coordinate their resolution.
- Knowledge of banking procedures and regulatory requirements applicable to local card operations.
- Work experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in a bank
- Ability to analyze transaction data, investigate incidents and prepare operational reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and cooperate effectively with IT, Operations, Compliance, branches, processing centers and vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Information Technology or another relevant field.
Specific knowledge:
- UZCARD and HUMO processing rules, operational procedures and transaction flows.
- Issuance, activation, servicing, blocking, replacement and closure of local payment cards.
- POS-terminal and ATM operating processes, including installation, configuration, monitoring and incident handling.
- Card transaction life cycle, reconciliation, chargeback/dispute handling and operational risk controls.
- Basic understanding of card security, fraud prevention and protection of cardholder data.
- Languages: Uzbek, Russian and English -
Duties:
- Manage day-to-day operations related to UZCARD and HUMO cards.
- Coordinate with UZCARD, HUMO, processing centers, vendors and the Bank's internal departments on operational and technical matters.
- Support the issuance, activation, servicing, blocking, replacement and closure of local payment cards.
- Monitor the operation of POS terminals and ATMs and coordinate troubleshooting, maintenance and restoration of service.
- Review failed, disputed or suspicious transactions and ensure that issues are resolved within the established deadlines.
- Participate in reconciliation and settlement processes and investigate identified discrepancies.
- Prepare operational reports, official correspondence, internal requests and documentation related to local card products and infrastructure.
- Participate in testing, implementation and improvement of card products, processing functionality, POS-terminal and ATM services.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank's internal procedures, payment-system rules and applicable requirements of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
- Provide professional support and guidance to branches and other Bank units on local card operations.
