International economics teacher (Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Economics in tourism)

Responsibilities:

Deliver undergraduate related subject courses in accordance with the approved curriculum and academic standards.

• Prepare and conduct lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions for Bachelor’s students.

• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, case studies, and other learning resources.

• Teach key macroeconomic concepts, including national income, inflation, unemployment, economic growth, fiscal and monetary policy, international trade, and exchange rates.

• Apply student-centred and practice-oriented teaching methods to facilitate students’ understanding of macroeconomic theory and its real-world applications.

• Design and conduct formative and summative assessments, including assignments, tests, midterm and final examinations.

• Evaluate students’ academic performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.

• Monitor students’ attendance, participation, and academic progress and provide appropriate academic support.

• Integrate current economic developments, data, and real-world examples into classroom teaching.

• Use digital learning platforms and educational technologies to support effective teaching and student engagement.

• Participate in curriculum development, course improvement, and departmental academic activities.

• Maintain accurate academic and assessment records in accordance with institutional policies.

• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to academic, research, and extracurricular activities of the programme.

Requirements:

• Master’s/PhD degree in Economics, Macroeconomics, MIcroeconomics, Finance, Business Economics, or a related field.

• Relevant teaching experience at university or higher education level.

• Strong knowledge of macroeconomic theory, models, policies, and current economic issues.

• Ability to explain complex economic concepts clearly to undergraduate students.

• Experience in developing course materials, assessments, and academic content.

• Knowledge of contemporary teaching methodologies and student-centred learning approaches.

• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to use economic data, statistics, and real-world examples in teaching.

• Proficiency in English, preferably at B2–C1 level or above.

• Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural academic environment.

• Research experience or publications in economics-related fields would be an advantage
