Senior Project Manager

Nauchsoft is an international IT consulting and software development company. We have been in the IT business for 37 years and continue growing.

We are looking for a senior Project Manager with proven experience delivering complex IT projects in regulated industries, ideally across Healthcare, Insurance, FinTech. The ideal candidate combines strong project delivery expertise with client relationship management, presales experience, and the ability to navigate complex business and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities:

Delivery:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of medium-to-large healthcare IT projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, staffing, risks, quality, and governance.
• Work closely with clients to define project scope, success criteria, priorities, and long-term roadmaps.
• Coordinate distributed cross-functional teams and remove delivery blockers.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, change requests, and scope adjustments, including data privacy, regulatory compliance, and interoperability.
• Ensure project documentation and delivery processes meet relevant healthcare standards (e.g. HIPAA) and internal quality requirements.
• Maintain clear reporting on project status, risks, and key metrics for clients and internal leadership.

Account ownership:

• Act as the primary client contact, manage expectations, resolve escalations, and build long-term relationships.
• Understand client needs and roadmap, monitor account health, and identify expansion and renewal opportunities.

Presales:

• Lead the front end of the sales cycle, including discovery, qualification, solution scoping, estimation, RFP/RFI responses, proposals, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
• Ensure a smooth handoff from sales to delivery and maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts in CRM.

AI-agentic delivery:

• Lead AI-agentic workstreams, defining responsibilities, evaluation methods, acceptance criteria, and human-in-the-loop processes.
• Govern key risks such as data leakage, guardrails, evaluation coverage, model/prompt versioning, cost, and regressions.
• Use AI tools to improve project management and help teams adopt AI effectively.

Team & process:

• Mentor project managers and team leads and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Improve internal project management processes, frameworks, and best practices.

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, delivery, or consulting, with a proven track record of leading mid-to-large-scale projects.
• Strong experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models, including fixed-budget projects.
• Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts, risks, dependencies, and reporting across multiple teams or workstreams.
• Ability to independently manage client escalations and senior stakeholders and take ownership of client relationships beyond a single project.
• Hands-on experience leading discovery and lead qualification as part of the sales process.
• Ability to independently develop and present proposals, SOWs, estimates, and solution outlines, with a good understanding of pricing, contracts, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience leading distributed, cross-functional teams and coordinating subcontractors and vendors.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• English B2+ (Upper-Intermediate or above), with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence, as well as CRM systems for pipeline and forecast management.
• Experience managing AI-enabled software projects and a solid understanding of AI-agentic delivery.
• Understanding of agentic systems, including orchestration, tools, memory, human-in-the-loop, evaluation, and acceptance criteria.
• Awareness of key AI delivery risks: hallucinations, data leakage, guardrails, cost, latency, and model/prompt drift.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents or LLM-based projects is a strong advantage.
• Regular use of AI tools in project management and a practical approach to AI governance and readiness.
• Strong domain expertise in at least one of these areas:

1. Healthcare: 1–2+ years of experience delivering healthcare-related IT projects. Working knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security (e.g. HIPAA), key stakeholder groups, and common systems such as EHR/EMR, practice management, and claims platforms.
2. Insurance: policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, commissions, reinsurance, brokers/MGAs/TPAs.
3. Investments & Wealth Management: portfolio management, trading, investment data, custody, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance.
4. FinTech, Banking & Payments: core banking, payments, lending, digital onboarding, KYC/AML, and relevant regulatory requirements.
