Oracle GoldenGate Engineer

Andersen is hiring an Oracle GoldenGate Engineer for a project supporting enterprise data integration and ensuring reliable, scalable data replication across critical systems.

The customer is a financial institution providing a wide range of services for individual and corporate clients. The company is undergoing an active digital transformation, focusing on mobile and online banking, modernization of legacy systems, and implementation of scalable architectures. It is also investing in fintech solutions, API integrations, and the development of ecosystem-driven products, while continuously improving engineering practices and development processes.

The project is focused on supporting and maintaining enterprise dфata integration solutions based on Oracle GoldenGate. It ensures reliable data replication, system stability, and the continuous operation of business-critical data synchronization processes.

Responsibilities:

• Administering, configuring, and maintaining Oracle GoldenGate.
• Supporting and monitoring Change Data Capture (CDC) processes in a production environment.
• Diagnosing and resolving incidents related to data replication.
• Configuring and maintaining Oracle GoldenGate Microservices Architecture components.
• Monitoring performance and optimizing data replication and synchronization processes.
• Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing preventive measures.
• Collaborating with development, infrastructure, and database administration teams.
• Participating in projects involving modernization, migration, and the enhancement of existing solutions.
• Preparing and maintaining technical and operational documentation.

Requirements:

• Experience working with Oracle Database for 5+ years.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate for 3+ years.
• Experience supporting Oracle GoldenGate Microservices Architecture.
• Deep understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC) principles and processes.
• Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise-grade data replication solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate Microservices components, including Administration Service, Distribution Service, Receiver Service, and Performance Metrics Service.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting replication lag, abended processes, data inconsistencies, performance issues, and data transmission errors.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Understanding of data replication, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR) principles.
• Strong log analysis, root cause investigation, and incident resolution skills.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
