QA Engineer (Strong Junior / Middle)

About the project
iMaktab is a digital school-management platform for educational institutions - electronic journal, e-diary, attendance and discipline tracking, homework management, parent-control, student ratings, and more. The product ships as both a mobile app (iOS/Android) and a web version.

What you'll do:

• Write and maintain test cases, checklists, and test documentation from requirements
• Execute manual functional testing on mobile and web
• Run regression and smoke testing for each release
• Report clear, reproducible bugs in Jira
• Verify fixes and track tickets through testing pipeline
• Basic localization / content checks where relevant
• Collaborate with devs, PM, and designers on requirements and edge cases

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of hands-on QA / testing experience
• Solid QA fundamentals: test design, test types, bug life cycle
• Experience with a bug tracker (Jira preferred)
• Clear, structured bug reports and test docs
• Comfortable testing mobile and/or web apps
• Attention to detail, methodical approach
• Languages: English / Uzbek / Russian

Nice to have:

• Basic API testing (Postman / Swagger)
• Android emulator / device testing
• Experience with education / EdTech or admin-heavy systems
• Agile / Scrum experience
• ISTQB CTFL (or in progress)
