Обязанности:

Support the Chief Accountant in managing accounting and tax functions, coordinating the accounting team, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Oversee compliance of accounting and tax records with Kazakhstan legislation, IFRS, and internal policies.
Participate in the development and implementation of accounting and tax policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Supervise month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations, provisions, and accurate recording of business transactions.
Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and statistical reporting.
Coordinate external audits and ensure timely provision of required information and documentation.
Oversee preparation and submission of tax returns (CIT, VAT, payroll and other statutory taxes).
Monitor tax calculations, statutory payments, and compliance with tax regulations.
Review contracts and non-standard transactions from accounting and tax perspectives.
Analyze tax implications of cross-border transactions, including non-resident taxation, DTTs, transfer pricing, and BEPS requirements.
Assess and mitigate tax risks, prepare tax positions and recommendations.
Coordinate interactions with tax authorities, external auditors, and tax advisors.
Monitor legislative changes and implement necessary updates to accounting and tax processes.
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and development of accounting methodologies and internal procedures.
Provide guidance, training, and methodological support to accounting staff.

Требования:

Competency Requirements:
Knowledge of company policies, internal controls, confidentiality, HSE and fire safety requirements.
Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan accounting, financial reporting and tax legislation, including IFRS.
Understanding of civil, labor, currency, customs and social security regulations relevant to accounting and taxation.
Knowledge of Double Tax Treaties, MLI BEPS and Transfer Pricing regulations.
Expertise in accounting and tax accounting methodologies.
Experience in accounting documentation, document flow management and internal controls.
Knowledge of period-end closing, reconciliations and provision accounting.
Experience in preparing financial, tax, statistical and regulatory reporting.
Experience interacting with tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
Experience coordinating external audits and working with external advisors.
Proficiency in accounting systems, including mandatory 1C user experience.
Education: higher education in accounting and auditing, finance or economics

Language skills: English, Kazakh and Russian

Professional Experience:
At least 10 years of professional experience in accounting and/or tax accounting, including experience preparing financial and tax reports and coordinating the work of the accounting/tax function or individual accounting areas;
At least 1 year of experience in 1C is required
Professional qualifications: having the qualification of “Professional Accountant of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, DipIFR ACCA, ACCA or other comparable professional qualification is an advantage.
