Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Accountant role based in Almaty. The Accountant will manage and maintain financial records and ensure compliance with local financial regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include full payroll process, banking, filling payroll tax reports, reconciling accounts, reports to NBRK and Agency of Statistics. The Accountant will collaborate with various departments to provide accurate financial insights and reporting to guide business decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in financial recordkeeping, account reconciliation, and compliance with accounting laws and regulations
• Experience with tax filings
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, as well as advanced knowledge of spreadsheets
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Role responsibilities:

• Full payroll management (incl tax reports)
• Banking (payroll and regular tax payments)
• Support outsource company with reconciliations and accruals
• Closing activities (check of invoices completeness, accuracy and proposals for accrual to outsource company)
• Statistical reports (monthly and quarterly) to NBRK and Agency of Statistics
• Issue of ESF, SNT, 328 form (ad-hoc)
