Web Developer

We are looking for a remote Web Developer to join a company that manufactures professional electronics, hardware, and software.

Location: remote (only Europe, Georgia, Armenia!)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites;
• Create and support new pages and services (landing pages, e-commerce stores, blog) within our component system and localization architecture (Crowdin + multilingual templates);
• Design and scale new features aligned with business goals;
• Refactor existing code, write documentation, and manage workflows via GitHub (pull requests, code reviews, releases);
• Maintain website security and performance (Core Web Vitals, loading optimization).

Requirements:

• Experience in web development for 2+ years;
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS (SCSS), JavaScript (jQuery), and PHP;
• Experience with npm, SCSS building tools (Gulp + dart-sass), and Liquid;
• Familiarity with Shopify theme development (Liquid) and WordPress (PHP templates, ACF);
• Experience in building responsive pages from Figma designs;
• Understanding of task estimation and deadline delivery;
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English at an Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher.

Your advantage would be:

• Knowledge of basic Unix commands;
• Experience with Core Web Vitals and frontend performance optimization;
• Familiarity with modern Shopify features (sections, JSON templates, metafields, app blocks) as well as Shopify CLI and theme version control;
• Experience with AI development tools;
• A portfolio featuring responsive layout examples and completed projects.
